Abstract

An analysis of the key points of reference in seeing Jesus as a religious Jew – including his basic influences and commitments, religious formation and Jewish observance, tradition and innovation, personal charisma, hope and aspiration, experience of God, ideas about Israel and the Twelve Tribes, worship and the Temple, Purity and Holiness, Healing and Health, the Kingdom of God, the life of the messianic community, his mystical experience, and (so far as it can be known or inferred) his selfunderstanding.
