Skeleton Programming for Portable Many-Core Computing

Abstract

Skeleton programming can, to a large degree, solve the portability problem in multi- and many-core programming. We present SkePU and SkelCL, two recent skeleton programming systems that support multi-GPU systems, and demonstrate their usage and efficiency with several concrete application programs.
